First launched in March 2010, the website Internet Cap-Vietnam (http://www.cap-vietnam.com) has become an important way to promote the country’s image to the world.
The information in this website has obtained over 400 hits a day and attracted over 1,000 members.
The website’s administrator, Nguyen Binh, said that those who are interested in Vietnam can easily register to be member of the website and join in its activities to download and update information about the country as well as promote Vietnam’s imagine to international friends.
Besides information on culture, society, tourism, economics and sports, Cap-Vietnam also provides a forum for all the members to discuss information related to Vietnam.
With the support of the “Courrier du Vietnam” under the Vietnam News Agency, many important events like the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi have been fully updated. Internet users can find information on the official programmes of this millennium ceremony.
