Phong Nha-Ke Bang, a gift from Mother Nature
The central province of Quang Binh is known as
land of resounding, heroic feats of arms in wartime. It is also a land of
beautiful landscapes, particularly Phong Nha-Ke Bang which was recognized as a
world natural heritage by UNESCO in 2003.
From Dong Hoi City in Quang Binh Province to the Hoan Lao T-junction, turn left
on Provincial Road No. 2 to the northwest for about 16 kilometers to get to the
Son River and then to the famous and majestic Phong Nha Cave.
Tourists will find themselves surrounded by the picturesque landscapes of the
primitive forest, the gentle Son River and Phong Nha Cave. Here are some photos
taken by The Saigon Times Daily reporter Kinh Luan.
