24 local films to be screened on Hanoi’s great anniversary

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has approved a list of movies to be screened from October 1-10 to celebrate the capital’s millennial anniversary.
All films will be distributed throughout the 63 provinces and cities in the country.
Chosen films include:
Feature films: Long Thanh Cam Gia Ca, Looking to the Sea, Itinerary through Three Seas, Don’t Burn, Hanoi in the 1946 Winter, Hanoi – 12 Days and Nights, Hanoi Little Girl, Hanoi in the Season of Bird Nesting.
Celluloid documentaries: People of the Same Generation, The City on the Red River, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam, The Suburb, Hanoi Old Quarter, Fire Lighting.
Video documentaries: A series of documentaries about Con Dao, Nguyen Trai, King Ly Cong Uan’s Hometown, Con Lac Chau Hong, Hanoi Epic, The Ancient Dance and seven episodes of Thang Long – 1000 Years.
Some cartoons will be also introduced.
