Young overseas Vietnamese commemorate Hung Kings
A delegation of young overseas Vietnamese offered
incense at the Hung Temple in the northern province of Phu Tho on August 1 to
commemorate the founders of nation.
The delegation visited Hung Vuong Museum to learn about the 18 Hung kings, as
well as legends about traditional Vietnamese cakes and the country’s glorious
history.
Eliza, a Vietnamese national living in Bulgaria, expressed her happiness in
joining such a significant event, and Nguyen Van Kiem from Ukraine said that he
is proud of his ancestors and excited to learn more about the nation’s history.
The same day, the overseas Vietnamese delegation also visited Tan Trao, a
historical site in the northern province of Tuyen Quang.
