Vietnam, Indonesia host fine art exhibition

An exhibition showcasing 40 paintings and sculptures by 18 Indonesian and 17 Vietnamese artists opened at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) in Hanoi on August 9.
Titled ‘Inside and Outside’, the exhibition is a co-operative effort between the VMFA and the Indonesian National Museum of Arts, aiming to promote the fine arts of the two nations, honour their outstanding cultural value, and raise the awareness of Vietnamese and Indonesian art lovers.
The exhibition, which runs until August 18, will lay a foundation for co-operation and dialogue for the mutual development of fine art between Vietnam and Indonesia.
