HCM City hosts vegetarian festival

A vegetarian festival themed “For Health and the Environment” will be held in HCM City from August 26-29.
The event will attract the participation of famous vegetarian restaurants in the city and nearby localities. Nearly 100 dishes will be introduced at 80 pavilions during the festival.
The event aims to attract tourists to HCM City and raise public awareness of the benefits of eating vegetarian food and.
The festival is expected to be held annually on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month which coincides with the Vu Lan festival to show children’s gratitude to their parents.
