The Ninh Thuan People’s Committee has just agreed in principle on the project
funded by Polo Beach International Limited from Hong Kong to build a luxurious
tourist complex in Mui Dinh, Thuan Nam, Ninh Thuan.
Under the investor’s projection, the Mui Dinh tourist complex will cover an area
of 1,500 ha and cost some US$ 4.5 billion of investment.
The project will comprise 4 main sections with various sub-projects and
functions.
According to the investor, when the whole project is expected to wrap up in
2020, this will be an international luxurious resort that will draw high-class
tourists.
However, the Construction Ministry suggested that the investor should carefully
study the feasibility of the project, then first deploy part of that huge
project in an area of 700 ha and then assess the effectiveness of the project
before continuing the second phase.
