For a more perfect mechanism of cooperation with Guangxi

The 3rd meeting of the Joint Working Commission between Viet Nam’s four border provinces and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, is assumed a good chance for the two sides to upgrade their cooperation, particularly in tourism sector.
The meeting was opened this morning in Ha Noi, with the attendance of Vietnamese Deputy PM Nguyen Thien Nhan, and leaders of the northern border provinces of Cao Bang, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, and Ha Giang as well as China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Deputy PM Nguyen Thien Nhan asserted that, through the meeting, the two sides can share information about their national projects in the border areas.
He underlined the need to review the realization of commitments made by the Vietnamese localities and Guangxi, since the 2nd Meeting in May 2009.
The Deputy PM urged the related parties to closely work together in realizing documents on land border, managing the common borderline, and enhancing friendly exchanges, tourism, cultural and educational cooperation.
Since the 2nd meeting, the two sides have taken many measures to consolidate and strengthen their relations.
Guangxi has enthusiastically promoted tourist activities, especially exploiting the Fangcheng-Ha Long line.
Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region's Tourism Department, in the framework of the Promoting Vietnam - China Tourism Co-operation held on August 10 in Hanoi, also introduced uniqueness features of its tourism potentialities.
