French group introduces Pullman hotel chain in Vietnam
France’s Accor Group, on September 21st,
introduced its new hotel brand-name, “Pullman”, as a step to further expand its
operations in Vietnam.
The group has officially signed contracts to manage two five-star Pullman Hotels
in Hai Phong and Da Nang.
The Accor Group has also drawn up plans until 2013, to running 30 hotels with
various brand-names in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Da Nang, Ha Noi, Hai Phong and Ho Chi
Minh City.
According to Patrick Basset, Accor’s Vice-Managing Director in Vietnam, the
Phillipines, Japan and South Korea, the group is currently running 14 hotels in
Vietnam, such as Sofitel, McGallery, Novotel and Mercure and has several
projects under construction.
