Visitor record tipped for Oktoberfest

About 14,000 visitors – against last year’s record 12,000 – are tipped attended to attend Oktoberfest in HCM City next month to celebrate 35 years of relations between Viet Nam and Germany.
Another 3,000 are expected to attend in Ha Noi where the festival will be part of the city’s millennium celebrations.
The now 200-year old Oktoberfest will feature traditional music, dance, food and beer.
It will be held on October 8-16 in HCM City and on October 22-23 in Ha Noi.
