Ana Tzarev’s paintings introduced in Hanoi
The American painter’s original paintings appeared
on a 30 meter section of Hanoi’s ceramic road and are now exhibited at the
Vietnam Museum of Arts, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc until October 4.
Ana Tzarev has been to Vietnam several times to discover its beauty and people.
She was very impressed by the spacious yellow-ripened rice fields and romantic
dams and canals in this country. Based on this feeling, she drew “Early Morning
on the Mekong River” and “The Song of Rice”. The latter painting was displayed
at Times Square in New York.
“I designed a painting about flowers throughout the world for the ceramic road
because flowers are the symbol of peace and love. I wish to bring peace and love
as gifts to this city on its 1000th birthday,” she explained.
At this time the painter can’t come to Vietnam, but representatives from her
galleries in New York - Simone Dilaura and Diana Buckley – are in Vietnam on her
behalf.
