Hotel prices should stay unchanged during Great Festival

On the occasion of the Great Festival of the 1,000th Anniversary of Thang Long–Hanoi, the city will welcome a large number of domestic and foreign visitors, with most of them staying in hotels.
To ensure optimum conditions for these tourists, the Vietnam Administration of Tourism has cooperated with the Hanoi’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to check the service quality of hotels in the city and to prevent prices from soaring.
According to Nguyen Phuong Anh, Deputy Head of the Hotel Department, under Vietnam Administration of Tourism, most checked hotels are in good condition and are charging reasonable prices.
He also stressed that his Department will continue to check hotels in the city to ensure reasonable prices for visitors during the coming events.
