Central Highland’s cultural heritages highlighted
Over 300 artifacts from Central Highland ethnic
groups belonging to collector Nguyen Van Hai are on display at a museum in Can
Tho city from October 14-17.
The exhibition features the unique cultural characteristics of ethnic groups
from the Central Highlands as it spotlights hunting tools, living utensils,
musical instruments and traditional costumes. There is also a number of
photographs portraying the lives of the different ethnic groups.
Hai, a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Artifact Collectors’ Association, said
that the event aims to honour the Central Highland’s cultural heritages.
It also calls upon the public to join in efforts to protect the region’s
heritages which are at risk of being lost forever.
