French cuisine fest to feature food, wine from seven regions

A special cuisine festival in Ho Chi Minh City next week will feature French food and wine from different regions.
Visitors will enjoy seven dishes with red wine from as many regions of France at what is being billed as the French Cuisine Fair in Vietnam on October 22 and 23 (Friday and Saturday).
Besides 14 wine booths, the fair in classic French style will also have two booths for other drinks and one booth for Idecaf, the HCMC-based Institute for Culture Exchange with France.
The fair will give visitors a chance to play France’s traditional games and entertain them with French music.
The fair is being co-organized by the French Embassy in Vietnam, Sopexa, a Paris-based marketing and communications firm for food and wine, and Equatorial Hotel, which is expected to host the fair annually from now on.
