Vietnam Airlines increases flights between HCM City and Quy Nhon
The representative office of the national flag
carrier Vietnam Airlines (VNA) in the coastal central province of Binh Dinh on
October 21 announced that it would add one more flight by ATR aircraft a week
for the route Ho Chi Minh City – Quy Nhon City – Ho Chi Minh City since the end
of this month.
Thus, besides seven flights by 150-seat A320 aircrafts every morning, there will
be four flights by 72-seat ATR aircrafts in every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and
Sunday afternoon.
This is the second time VNA increases flights for this route this year. Earlier,
the carrier added three more flights by ATR aircrafts in April.
For the route Hanoi – Quy Nhon – Hanoi, the carrier still provides six flights
per week by A320 aircrafts.
The number of passengers travelling on these two routes reached 117,964 in the
first nine months of this year, an increase of 37 percent year-on-year. The
efficiency for HCMC- Quy Nhon – HCMC and Hanoi – Quy Nhon - Hanoi route was at
87 percent and 60 percent respectively.
