Vietnam Airlines opens more flights to Myanmar

Vietnam Airlines will open 3 flights a week, on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays, as of November 15th, from Ho Chi Minh City to Rangoon City, Myanmar, using the Airbus A320 aircraft.
Each flight of 2 hours and 20 minutes duration, will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 15:45 and from Rangoon at 18:35.
On this occasion, the airline has organised a promotion program to offer cheap tickets for passengers taking flights between November 15th and December 25th, resulting in a return ticket costing around US$100.
Earlier in March, the national flag-carrier opened a non-stop route from Hanoi to Rangoon with four flights a week. In its winter schedule, there will be five flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, between the two cities.
