Da Nang stimulates tourism for the first time

The central city of Da Nang has launched the first Month of Tourism Stimulation from November 1-30, featuring such programs as Tourist Privilege Card and Shopping Coupon.
Tourists having cards or coupons will enjoy 10-50% reduction in prices and fees of travel services, tickets, accommodation, foodstuff, garments and cosmetics.
Travel agencies have pledged to reduce prices of tours from Da Nang to Hoi An, Hue, and My Sơn by 15%.
Five trade companies, 24 travel agencies, restaurants, hotels and shopping centers in the city, including Danatours, Vietravel, Saigontourist, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Sandy Beach, Phuong Dong, Ba Na, Saigontourane, Royal, Big C, Intimex, Metro and CoopMart, have participated in the program.
According to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the city received 1.6 million visitors in the first 10 months of this year, up 42% on-year, and earn the revenues of VND 1,051 billion, up 62%. It welcomed 336,000 foreign tourists in the period, up 26%.
