A direct flight route linking Istanbul to Ho Chi Minh City to be opened
Turkish Airlines has announced it will officially
open a direct flight route between Istanbul and Ho Chi Minh City on December 30.
This is a new opportunity for Vietnamese and Turkish tourists to discover
specific cultural traits between the two countries.
Accordingly, flights between Istanbul and Ho Chi Minh City will operate on every
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday while those vice versa will depart on
every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
By late December 2010, Turkish Airlines in Vietnam will coordinate with the
Turkish Administration of Tourism to kick off a tourism program named “Hello
Turkey” visiting five cities, including Cappadocia, Konya, Pamukkale, Kusadasi,
and Istanbul. The nine-day and eight-night tour will have a special price of USD
2,300 a person for Vietnamese tourists.
Turkish Airlines is one of the four largest carriers in Europe and the only
carrier with four-star standards for every seat class. The carrier became a
member of the Star Alliance in April 2008.
