Lamp-ice sculptures showcased in HCMC
The Dam Sen Cultural Park in Ho Chi Minh City is
hosting an eleven-month exhibition on Cap Nhi Tan lamp-ice sculptures.
The exhibition introduces 19 sculptures featuring Khue Van Cac, One-Pillar
Pagoda, Thailand’s Golden Pagoda, Lao Pagoda, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon,
the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Triumphal Arch, the Bayon and other famous
structures.
It took nearly 30 days for more than 20 engineers and technicians from China and
Vietnam to create these beautiful sculptures.
Around 750 tonnes of ice and over 2,000 colorful lamps were used to make the
sculptures on 6,500 sq.m.
