Promoting Vietnamese tourism in Morocco
The Vietnamese Embassy in Morocco exempted visa
fees for tours of Vietnam from October 10 to December 31, 2010.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Morocco, in coordination with the Morocco Tourism
Agency, organised talks on Vietnamese tourism entitled “Vietnam – the hidden
charm”.
Present at the talks were representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy, and the
Moroccan Foreign Ministry, as well as nearly 50 Morocco tourism businesses and
journalists.
The talks introduced Vietnam’s people and land along with prospects, potential
and the tourism environment. It provided a good chance for the two sides to
understand tourism markets and attract Moroccan visitors to Vietnam.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Morocco, Cao Xuan Than affirmed that Vietnam hass
always considered an attractive and safe destination for international visitors.
The Vietnamese Government always creates favourable conditions and support
tourism businesses to ensure safety for visitors.
President of the Casablanca Tourism Agents Association, A. Bokhomet said Vietnam
will become a favoured destination for high incomers and foreigners in Morocco.
He expressed his hope that the Vietnamese Embassy will help Moroccan travel
agents to seek information and business opportunities in Vietnam.
