Hanoi-Warsaw direct air route launched
The Boeing 767-300 of Polish LOT Airlines with 237
passengers on board landed at the Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport on
Sunday, officially opening the Hanoi-Warsaw direct route.
As reported earlier, on this occasion, the airlines offers a special discount
for flights from Hanoi to Europe with $US199 one-way ticket from Hanoi to
Poland, US$299 ticket from Hanoi to other European cities and US$380 return
ticket for flights between Hanoi and Europe from Nov 15th-26th.
Established in 1929, LOT is one of the oldest airlines in the world and a member
of the Global Star Alliance. The carrier currently has total 55 airplanes flying
to 60 places all over Europe, Middle East and North America.
LOT Airlines has also planned to buy an additional 8 Boeing 787 “Dreamliner”
aircrafts in 2011 and become the Europe’s first carrier to use this model of
aircraft.
