Hanoi to hold Long Bien Bridge Fest
The Long Bien Bridge Festival 2010 titled “Dragon
bridge tells the story of Thang Long – Hanoi of peace, integration and
Development” will be held on November 20th and 21st.
The festival is expected to be a convergence of Vietnamese various ethnic
cultural features and an exchange between national and international culture.
The festival will highlight three main themes: Memorial Bridge, Hopeful Bridge
and International Friends with 1,000 year-old Thang Long – Hanoi.
Accordingly, art-works, including photos, pictures, documents, objects and old
costumes, will be organised into 14 periods in accordance with the Vietnamese
history and be displayed along the bridge.
In addition, a number of traditional art and music performances and
demonstrations will be held on open-air stages or on the bridge itself.
