Coconut documentary filmed next month

The Ministry of Information and Communications will coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ben Tre Province to make a documentary about coconut culture in Vietnam.
The documentary that will focus on the Mekong Delta will have three 25 minute episodes. Shooting will start early next month in Ben Tre, HCMC and other coconut growing areas.
The documentary is expected to be ready for broadcast in April 2011 on national stations and the international broadcaster VTV4. The film will be also screened for the third Coconut Festival in Ben Tre Province in 2012.
