Ho Chi Minh museum welcomed over 25 million visitors over the past 20 years
Since 1990, the Ho Chi Minh museum has received
more than 25 million visiting turns, including over 4 million foreigners from
over 60 countries and territories.
According to Chu Duc Tinh, director of the Ho Chi Minh museum, over the past
year, the museum has improved the quality of providing information. Each year,
the museum supplemented from 300 to 400 documents and objects. So far, the
museum has collected 130,000 documents and objects to meet the demand of
scientists, researchers and people to conduct research, study and follow the
example of President Ho Chi Minh.
From 2009 to 2010, the museum held 19 conferences and seminars about President
Ho Chi Minh; conducted four ministry-level scientific research projects and many
grassroots-level research. The museum also published 19 books and 28 intramural
magazines.
Many delegations were sent to Russia, France, China and many localities in
Vietnam to collect and research documents. From 2006 to 2010, the museum has
collected and received 3487 documents and objects from domestic and foreign
individuals and groups.
The museum also held exhibitions in different countries such as China, Russia,
France, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand.
Therefore, on November 23rd, Ho Chi Minh museum was honoured to receive the
first-class Independence Medal for its great achievements.
