Vietnam Airlines changes its operation at Noi Bai International Airport

Vietnam Airlines on Saturday (December 11) said that it must aborted, cancelled and adjusted both domestic and international flights departing and arriving at the Noi Bai International Airport due to bad weather and thick fog.
For safety reason, from 8am of December 11, the carrier has set:
Aborting flights: 2 flights in Hanoi – Vinh – Hanoi route (VN383 and VN382), 2 flights in Hanoi – Can Tho – Hanoi route (VN297 and VN296); and 2 flights in Hanoi – Dien Bien – Hanoi route (VN497 and VN496).
Landing at another airports: 3 flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi (1 landing at Da Nang International Airport and 2 landing at Vientiane International Airport); 1 flight from Da Nang to Hanoi landing at Vientiane International Airport; 2 flights from Can Tho and Nha Trang to Hanoi landing at Da Nang International Airport.
Besides, there are 40 domestic and international flights landing and arriving at Noi Bai International Airport had been delayed.
Also in a press release, the Vietnam national flag carrier is expected to have 1 additional flight for Hanoi – Can Tho – Hanoi air route on Sunday (December 12). If the weather is better, Vietnam Airlines will operation its normal flying schedule as well as get ready to dealing for unexpected cases from that day.
