An excellent award for the Nam Hai resort

The Nam Hai resort has won an award for Commitment to the Community which was given by the prestigious hospitality organization "The Leading Hotels of the World".
There are only three hotels among 500 top hotels of the world receiving this excellent prize including Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa in Australia for the Commitment to the Environment, the Halekulani Hotel in Hawaii for the Commitment to Culture and the Nam Hai resort for Commitment to the Community.
In the recent years, the Nam Hai resort was renowned on famous travel magazines of the world namely Condé Nast Traveler (US and England), Travel and Leisure (US), Asia Spa, Frommer's and Gourmet Traveler (Australia), Tatler (Thailand), Honeymoon and Travel magazines...
The resort features one of the top spas in Asia, two gourmet restaurants and a wide range of recreational facilities including tennis, a health club, three swimming pools, a kids club and an 18 hole golf course designed by Colin Montgomerie nearby.
In 2009, the Nam Hai established the Sympathetic Hearts charity fund for the local community to help disadvantaged children to go to school. The fund conducted various projects, including a scholarship program that paid for school tuition and expenses for 57 local children, blanket and food donation following the devastation of Typhoon Ketsana, presenting gifts of basic necessities such as rice, noodles and laundry detergent to local families during Tet Lunar New Year in 2010 and organizing a beach clean-up on World Environment Day.
In addition, The Nam Hai also give an opportunity to ‘Be Part of The Nam Hai Staff for the Day’ to learn about day-to-day resort operations through holding a literature contest.
The other current projects of Nam Hai include university scholarships for talented local students, food donations to a local orphanage and handicapped center sponsored by Tetra-Pak Japan and regular medical missions.
