Heli-tourism service to take off soon

Tourism by helicopter will be launched in the central city of Da Nang in the next few days, according to the Da Nang People’s Committee.
The new service will offer visitors breathtaking panoramic views of famous tourist areas including, Ngu Hanh Son Mountain, My Khe beach, the wild forest on Son Tra island and Ba Na hill.
Vietnam Tourism Joint Stock Company – Vitours will operate the tours using the 24-seater MI 17 and MI 172 helicopters and the 12-seater EC 155 B1 helicopter. The Northern Aviation Service Company provides these helicopters.
The first helicopter flight carrying 20 passengers will depart from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang at the end of December.
The addition of a helicopter service is expected to boost tourism in the central region.
