2011 National Tourism Year in Tuy Hoa

The 2011 National Tourism Year Organizing Board said that this year's event of this kind will be launched in Tuy Hoa District in Phu Yen Province, for the occasion of the 400th anniversary of Phu Yen.
Since the beginning of 2009, the organizing board has launched many culture/tourism activities to advertise the province and the tourism year. It is expected that more than 30 culture/tourism events will take place in southern central coastal provinces.
Phu Yen in particular has invested more than VND230 billion to upgrade tourism/culture infrastructure. The organizing board will soon organize several events within the framework of the 2011 National Tourism Year, including an international mountain climbing tournament, a Vietnam-Korea cultural meeting, a Vietnam sea and island tourism month, an ASEAN traditional music festival, and an Asia music Olympiad./.
