Korean traditional embroidery art introduced
“The charm of Korean traditional embroidery art”,
exhibition opened today at Korean Cultural Centre, in Hanoi, with more than 40
Korean embroidered masterpieces on traditional costumes and other objects from
the Korean Royal life.
The 10-day exhibition, jointly held by Korean Cultural Centre and Korean
traditional embroidery companies, Gabasi and Suin House, is part of practical
activities to promote the cultural exchanges between the two countries.
The exhibition offers Vietnamese spectators a chance to learn more about Korean
embroidery arts and the similarities and differences between the art of
embroidery between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea. The exhibition is also a
token of thanks to the Vietnamese artisans who had contributed to making these
art works.
