Ha Long – Quang Ninh 2011 Tourism Week to be held

The Ha Long – Quang Ninh 2011 Tourism Week will be held from April 29th to May 2nd at the Tuan Chau Tourist Area and in the centre of Ha Long City, according to the Quang Ninh Province People’s Committee.
The coming event, with various interesting programs, is to promote the image of the Northern Province’s tourism and is part of the campaign to vote Ha Long bay to become one of Seven Wonders of the World.
In addition, many other cultural, tourist and sports activities will be launched at tourism centers in the Province such as Mong Cai City, Uong Bi, Dong Trieu and Van Don Districts.
This is a good chance to improve the promotion for Ha Long Bay, which has been recognised as a world natural wonder, twice, by UNESCO.
