Art performances to welcome International Sailing Festival

Well-known violist Bui Cong Duy and foreign singers Natalia Fateeva, Ilya Viktorov (Russia), the Czech Jazz band and sailing teams from 20 nations worldwide will take part in the Mui Ne International Sailing Festival 2011 from March 17th to 20th organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Binh Thuan People’s Committee and General Department of Tourism.
The event starts with the demonstration of the world’s professional yachtsmen and yachtswomen, namely Mr. Roderick John Waterhouse and Mrs. Kerry Ann Waterhouse from Australia, Mr. Kitsada Vongtim from Thailand, Mr. Chris Tield from England and Mr. Aaron Worrall from Hong Kong, etc.
Then comes an international concert, “Chao Ha Noi” (Hello Hanoi), with rock songs performed by Natalia Fateeva and other international artists and many songs on Hanoi by the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, Professor- People’s artist Thu Ha, Meritorious artist Ngo Van Thanh.
The event is aimed at promoting tourism of Vietnam, a country with long coast, many beautiful bays and beaches.
