River tours launched in HCMC
Ho Chi Minh City’s tourism sector has launched a
river tour from the Bach Dang River Port to the Ham Long Trade Village in Long
Thach My Ward, District 2, to attract more tourists to the City.
Located along the Sai Gon River, the Ham Long Trade Village, with wonderful
ancient architectures and traditional cultural identities, is expected to
interest both domestic and foreign visitors alike.
According to La Quoc Khanh, the City Tourism Department’s Deputy-Director,
tourism in trade villages is a promising attraction for development, and the new
river tour will help add to the city’s tourist products.
Local travel agencies signed agreements with the trade village to improve the
quality of tourist products and services for the new tour.
*On January 23rd, Viet Excursions welcomed more than 850 foreign visitors,
mainly from the USA, onboard the “Seabourn Pride” and “Nautica” cruise liners in
trans-Viet tours.
