Saigontourist targets 2.1 million tourist arrivals in 2011

The Saigon Travel Service Company (Saigontourist) received and provided services for 1.9 million tourist arrivals, earning a revenue of more than VND 9.46 trillion in 2010, it reported in a review meeting in Ho Chi Minh City on January 20.
The travel agency has carried out major upgrades to all its units to strive to greet more than 2.1 million tourist arrivals in 2011.
Aiming to reach the target, Saigontourist is focusing on expanding joint-venture and cooperation with foreign partners, with priority given to the US and Japan markets.
