Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism works out plans for 2011

Deputy-Prime Minister, Nguyen Thien Nhan, yesterday had a working session with the Ministry of Culture, Sport, Tourism on measures to carry out effectively this year’s plan.
The Deputy-Prime Minister appreciated the achievements of the Ministry last year and asked the Ministry to work out specific goals of culture, sports and tourism and improve the development quality.
The Deputy Prime Minister also urged the tourism sector to pay attention to competitiveness in the region and the world and focus on balance in capital, land resources, human resources, tourism resources and tourism cooperation.
Mr. Nhan highlighted the role of women, especially rural women in developing household economies. At present 80% Vietnamese people are living in rural areas.
