Quang Ninh ensures safety for all cruise tourists

The Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee has implemented many measures to ensure the safety for all cruise tourists while visiting Ha Long Bay.
The Province was instructed to invest more than VND9 billion to upgrade 4 overnight anchorages in the bay, which can receive 120 boats.
An inspection team has been established to check all the cruise boats operating on Ha Long Bay, and this team always examines technical standards, the quality of services, crew and staff and safety equipments.
The northern province is also bringing in new regulations on transporting visitors on cruises. Accordingly, only boats that meet the required criteria of the inspection team will be allowed to transport visitors.
Other measures to raise awareness of the safety for visitors have been held using still images and video tapes.
