Travel agencies to be inspected

The Vietnam Tourism Administration will inspect all travel agencies nationwide after the sinking of a tour boat in Ha Long Bay in order to ensure safety for tourists.
Last month, the Nu Hoang Travel Company (AZ Queen) was fined for providing international travel services without a license.
The inspection teams will focus on travel agencies in big cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An and Quang Ninh.
In addition, the Vietnam Tourism Administration will also withdraw licenses from travel agencies if they take tourists to farms for bear gall bladder and bile products.
