“Japan at a glance” to be held in Hanoi
The International Cooperation Bureau under the
Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in association with the Japanese
Embassy in Vietnam, will hold the Japanese Genki Festival 2011, “Japan at a
glance in Ha Noi”, on April 16th and 17th, at the Vietnam trade exhibition
centre.
Many interesting activities will take place during the festival, such as
displaying silk sakura, multi-coloured lantern, introducing the Japanese
cuisine, performing Cosplay art, Yosakoi dance, to name a few.
The organisers will also sell souvenirs to raise funds for victims of the Agent
Orange in the Hoa Binh Children Village and to assist Japan in overcoming the
aftermath of the recent natural disasters.
The festival will contribute to introducing the Japanese culture to Vietnamese
and strengthening friendship between the two countries.
