Culture, sport and tourism sector organises activities for promoting elections in May
The election of the 13th National Assembly (NA)
deputies and the People’s Council members at all levels for the 2011-2016 tenure
in late May is a major and crucial political event of Vietnam in 2011. The
Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism is taking prompt plans to organise
promotional activities for this significant event.
The ministry launched a competition of creating propaganda pictures and is
holding an exhibition on propaganda pictures and posters until May.
In the second quarter of 2011, the ministry will organise a mobile promotion
festival nationwide to celebrate 65th anniversary of the General Election of the
Vietnamese National Assembly and welcome the election of the 13th NA deputies
and People’s Council members at all levels in the 2011-2016 tenure in northern
mountainous provinces.
The ministry printed and published promotional documents on the election of the
13th NA deputies, including: four propaganda poster models and CDs; slogan,
national emblem and President Ho Chi Minh picture.
In late April, the ministry will organise an exhibition entitled: “President Ho
Chi Minh with the election of the NA deputies and the People’s Council members
at all levels” at Ho Chi Minh Museum. In May when the election of the 13th NA
deputies takes place, a photo exhibition to promote the election will be held in
northern, central and southern provinces.
During the election, the ministry will hold art programs, film screenings,
videos on the election to serve compatriots of various mountainous ethnic
origins at remote areas, borders and islands.
