Five-star “SuperStar Aquarius” docks in Ha Long

The leading domestic tour operator, Saigontourist, welcomed 2,200 foreign tourists and crew (mainly from China) on the five-star cruise ship, the “SuperStar Aquarius”, that docked in the Cai Lan Port, Ha Long City on April 3rd.
It is the first time in 2011 a ship, from the Malaysian Star Cruises company, has visited Ha Long.
Representatives of the City’s Department of Culture-Sports-Tourism as well as Saigontourist, held an art performance and offered flowers and gifts to welcome the SuperStar Aquarius.
As scheduled, after arriving in Ha Long, visitors toured Ha Long Bay, Vung Vieng Fishing Village, Ha Long Market, Long Tien Temple, learning about local daily life and enjoying water puppet shows, Vietnam traditional music and so on.
At 10pm on the same day, the SuperStar Aquarius left Ha Long bound for Hong Kong.
