Hanoi to have trams around West Lake for tourism

Hanoi will put 20 trams into service for tourism from September 2nd, according to the state-owned Tay Ho Co. Ltd.
The trams will travel 18 km for sightseeing around West Lake and other popular sites, including Van Nien, Thien Nien, Tao Sach, Vong Thi and Tran Quoc pagodas and Quan Thanh, Cau Nhi, Co Le, Yen Phu and Tay Ho temples, Ly Tu Trong park and so on.
In the near future, the company will continue to put another 30 trams into operation in other neighbourhoods and districts.
The current route, through 36 old streets, is 6 km long with about 13 stops.
