Quang Ngai hosts exhibition on Paracel Islands

A photography exhibition entitled Hoang Sa-Nhin Tu Ly Son Paracel Islands- A view from Ly Son by photographer Nguyen Van Minh was held in Quang Ngai province on April 16.
The 58 photos depicted different scenes of Ly Son island taken by Minh when he lived with Ly Son’s fishermen and took part in a number of festivals, visited graves and read historical documents about the island.
The artist also wanted to raise Vietnamese people’s awareness of defending their territorial sovereignty.
The exhibition was one of the activities to celebrate the 2011 southcentral region National Tourism Year -Phu Yen.
