More international flights to Vietnam added
The national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, and some other Asian
airlines will increase their flights to and from Vietnam in their summer
schedules.
Accordingly, China Southern and Tiger Airways (Singapore) will increase their
flights to Hanoi from 4 to 7 and 3 to 7 flights a week, respectively.
And for flights to Ho Chi Minh City, Korean Air and Tiger Airways will operate
14 and 28 flights a week, respectively.
Vietnam Airlines will also add 1 more flight to Paris, 1 more to Moscow, 2 more
to Sydney and Melbourne each, 4 more to Singapore and 7 more to Bangkok.
In addition, China’s Sichuan Airlines, allowed to operate aviation services
since March 2011, will add 2 flights between Chongqing and Hanoi and between
Chengdu - Nanning - Ho Chi Minh City.
However, Cambodia’s Angkor Air will cut down its flights to Vietnam from 14 to 7
a week.
