Tour bookings increase for coming holidays

The number of visitors who have booked tours for the upcoming Liberation Day (April 30th) and Labour Day (May 1st) holidays have increased by 12% to 30%, compared to the same period last year, said some large travel agencies, such as Saigontourist, Vietravel and Fiditour.
Representatives from Saigontourist said that the company has to launch some tours earlier to meet the demand of 16,000 customers during the coming holidays. Most of these tourists are young people, families and overseas Vietnamese.
According to travel agencies, the price of tours to some favourite tourism destinations, such as Nha Trang, Phan Thiet, Phu Quoc, Da Lat and Sa Pa, also increased by 10% to 20% compared to last year’s holidays.
Some tours with air tickets to Phu Quoc, Con Dao and Danang have been fully booked.
