“Ba Vi Tourism – Destination of 2011”

The People’s Committee of Ba Vi District launched a travelling season under the theme “Ba Vi Tourism – Destination of 2011” in Ao Vua Resort last Saturday in the presence of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Vice-Chairperson of the People’s Committee of Ha Noi.
Ba Vi District is rich in the old culture of the Viet ethnic groups with over 300 historical and cultural relics including 67 already classified ones.
Besides, Ba Vi has diverse terrains with a wide variety of fauna and flora species. Ba Vi also possesses several renowned tourist destinations such as: Ba Vi National Park, Suoi Hai Lake, Thuan My Hot Springs, Stork Hill of Ngoc Nhi etc.
The opening of Ba Vi Tourism Season aims to introduce, advertise and improve the products of eco-tourism, culture and society of Ba Vi to domestic and international tourists.
Ba Vi District has targeted to attract 1.7 to 1.8 million tourists this year.
The same day, Hanoi Joint Stock Company of Entertainment Service also held a festival of Ho Tay Water Park, starting an eventful summer of 2011 with numerous cultural, sport and art activities from April 30th to May 3rd with the participation of Dance Band of Latin Carmen, Hiphop Band Loggerz and many performances of vaudeville and X-Game as well as excellent road-shows.
