Sa Pa opens culture-tourism week

The “Festival in the Clouds” opened at the Sa Pa Town by Sa Pa District’s authorities, Lao Cai Province, on April 27th.
Until May 4th, the organiser will hold many activities, such as the “Folk cultural festive day” at the Ham Rong Tourism Site with many art performances and traditional games from ethnic minority groups of Dao, Tay, Giay and Xa Pho, the “Mong Cat Village’s Cultural Day” at San Sa Ho Commune, and the “Night at the Sa Pa Love Market” at the Sa Pa Ancient Town, on April 30th.
In addition, Sa Pa Town will also organise the “Tennis Championships Cup Fansipan”, a photo exhibition, “Sa Pa in the clouds”, and the “Cuisine Fair in Rural Areas”, to introduce the dainty morsels from the Northwest region and Lao Cai Province.
