Air Mekong starts flying HCM City-Quy Nhon route
The flight route HCMC-Quy Nhon-HCMC was inaugurated on June 1st
at Phu Cat Airport, Binh Dinh Province by the Provincial People’s Committee and
Mekong Aviation Stock Company (Air Mekong).
As scheduled, the carrier will conduct daily flights on the newly-opened route.
Accordingly, flights will take off at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in HCMC
at 8:15 am and land at Phu Cat Airport in Binh Dinh one hour later. The flight
for the Binh Dinh-HCMC route will take off at 10:15am.
A CRJ900 jet with 90 seats will be used on route.
With the newly-launched route, Air Mekong is increasing it’s routes throughout
Vietnam to 11.
Airfare for this route ranges from VND 650,000 to VND 1 million, excluding
additional fees and tax.
Air Mekong is the second airline in Vietnam to fly from HCMC to Binh Dinh and
vice versa, bringing the total number of flights between two locations to 17
flights per week.
More than 50 children under 12 enjoyed free tickets at the first flight by Air
Mekong on June 1st to celebrate International Children’s Day.
