Vietnam Airlines adds more domestic flights

The national flag-carrier, Vietnam Airlines (VNA) announced on July 3rd that it will conduct more 1,350 flights on 12 domestic routes to meet increasing travel demand during the summer holiday between July 1st and August 15th.
Accordingly, the total number of seats for this period will reach 1.6 million, up by 21 and 12 per cent against the usual and last year’s figures, respectively.
Namely, the route Hanoi- HCMC will offer more than 460,000 seats or about 5,000 seats a day per trip on average, an increase of 18 per cent than the airline’s normal schedule.
Frequencies between HCMC-Da Nang and Ha Noi-Da Nang will also be increase by 11 and 38 percent compared with the usual schedule respectively.
In addition, the carrier will operate extra flights on routes of Hanoi/ HCMC-Nha Trang and HCMC-Hai Phong.
