The trip to Mekong has been interesting and everything was fine. The level of the services were definitely lower than the ones offered on Halong Bay but this was justified by the price. The tour guide, Alex, was very efficient and nice with the group. I was glad I didn't choose the hotel included in the tour as it was terrific, definitely below standard while the one we chose was very nice and romantic (in case you want to propose it to your clients I surely recommend the Nguyen Shack homestay). The tour itself has been interesting as you can see many different aspects of life on Mekong.
The only thing that really upset my husband and I was the bus to the Delta. It was very very uncomfortable, with very little space for the legs and for a long trip like this it was really a problem (we heard also other people complaining among themselves). On the way back after approx 1 hour trip we changed the bus and it was definitely better.
Anyway our comment is overall positive.
