Vietnam Visa Symbols:
- NG1 and NG2: These visas are granted to members of official delegations invited by the Party Central Committee, National Assembly, the President, Government and guests of equivalent ranks of the ministers, vice ministers, presidents and vice presidents of committees provinces and cities directly under the Central Government and any of the relatives that are accompanying them. (These visas are issued for a maximum of 12 months).
- NG3: These visas are granted to individuals who are members of of foreign missions and their relatives (These visas are issued for a maximum of 12 months).
- NG4: These Vietnam visa symbols are granted to any individuals working for foreign missions or to visit members of foreign missions (These visas are issued for a maximum of 12 months).
- LV1: These visas are granted to individuals who are working for the Party Central Committee, National Assembly, the President, Government and guests of equivalent ranks of the ministers, vice ministers, presidents and vice presidents of committees provinces and cities directly under the Central Government (These visas are issued for a maximum of 12 months).
- LV2: These Vietnam visa symbols are granted to anyone who is visiting Vietnam to work for social organizations or the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (These visas are issued for a maximum of 12 months).
- ĐT: These visas are granted to anyone who is visiting Vietnam in order to invest in the country or any lawyer that is practicing their profession in Vietnam (These visas are issued for a maximum of 60 months).
- DN: These visas are granted to anyone who is entering the country to conduct business with a Vietnamese company or corporation. (These visas are issued for a maximum of 12 months).
- NN1, NN2 and NN3: These visas are granted to individuals who are either the head or representatives of offices and branch of economic organizations, cultural organisations, and any other professional organization or foreign non-governmental organizations based in Vietnam (These visas are issued for a maximum of 12 months).
- DH: These visas are granted to those people who are visiting Vietnam to study or undertake an internship in the country (These visas are issued for a maximum of 12 months).
- HN: These visas are granted to those who are entering Vietnam to attend pre-arranged business meetings or conferences in the country (These visas are issued for a maximum of 3 months).
- PV1: These visas are granted to permanent journalists and reporters working within Vietnam (These visas are issued for a maximum of 12 months).
- PV2: These visas are granted to short term journalists and reporters working within Vietnam Vietnam (These visas are issued for a maximum of 12 months).
- LĐ: These visas are granted to any employees of Vietnam based that are coming to work in Vietnam (These visas are issued for a maximum of 24 months).
- DL: These visas are granted for those travelers who are visiting Vietnam purely for tourism purposes (These visas are issued for a maximum of 3 months).
- TT: These visas are granted to those people who enter Vietnam with the purpose of visiting their spouses, children who are Vietnamese or a non-Vietnamese individual who is holding a Vietnam visa symbol LV1, LV2, ĐT, NN1, NN2, DH, PV1, LĐ (These visas are issued for a maximum of 12 months).
- VR: These visas are granted to those individuals who are entering Vietnam with the intention of visiting relatives who reside in the country. (These visas are issued for a maximum of 6 months).
- SQ: These visas are granted by Vietnam diplomatic missions abroad to individuals who have a working relationship with the competent authorities Vietnam visa abroad and spouses, children or who have written request of the competent authority in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the host country (These visas are issued for a maximum of 30 days).
