The attractions made most accessible to tourists are Buddhist culture in Luang Prabang, gastronomy in the capital of Vientiane, backpacking in Vang Vieng and ancient and modern culture and history in The Plain of Jars region.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Vientiane arrival (L, D)
Upon arrival in Vientiane Capital, you are met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. After a short rest, we start visiting the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. Dinner and overnight in Vientiane.
Dinner at restaurant with Lao traditional dance. Over night in Vientiane.
Day 2: Vientiane - Xieng Khouang (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel, a beautiful drive to Xieng Khouang about 8 hours; arrive at Phonesavanh in Xiengkhoung and transfer to hotel. Upon you arrival visit to an area of wide plateaux and mountain. Excursion to the Muang Khoune, the former capital city of Xieng Khouang and visit remnants of temples, palaces, stupas, etc.
Dinner and over night.
Day 3: Xieng Khouang (B, L, D)
Breakfast, Visit the amazing “Plain of Jars” where countless pots of jars in various sizes scattered all over the area with unknown origin. Then excursion to Muang Kham. Tour to Tham Piou, a historic cave used during the war and continue to a hot underground spring which flows into river near-by. Visit Ban Thachok, a tribal H’mong Village, where one can touch the charm and gentle smiles of ethnic villagers.
You can see their daily life and customs. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Xieng Khouang - Luang Prabang (B, L, D)
Breakfast, excursion by road to Luang Prabang UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arrive in Luang Prabang, transfer to hotel for checking in. Upon you arrival take for sightseeing city tour; visit Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Mai, Wat Visoun, Wat Visoun, Phousi hill climbing 329 zigzag stairs to the sacred gilded stupa and overlooking of the beautiful of the city. After dinner we explore the night market where you can find lovely collection of handmade textiles made by local and hill tribe people.
Day 5: Luang Prabang (B, L, D)
***Optional tour: Experience the alms-giving ceremony or the “Tuk Bat” where 300 monks’ parade along Wat Sean Street and devotees handing out food them.
Breakfast, we then board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River , which also gives us a taste of the tranquil countryside and an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at Ban Xang Hai to visit the rice wine distillation Boat trip on the Mekong River. After finish lunch visiting the National Museum (Former Royal Palace).Then we go head to visiting Kuangsi waterfall, you may swim
at the crystal clear cold water. One the way water fall, you visit Lao black Bear Rescue centre. Dinner and frees at leisure.
Day 6: Luang Prabang - Vang Vieng (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel, visiting the Mulberry paper home made and shopping for souvenir items and then drive back to Vang Vieng during on the way stop lunch at Kasi restaurant. Upon you arrival Vang Vieng transfer to the hotel for check in and frees at leisure an impressive way to start our day is a walk around the bustling central market. Heading out of town we enjoy a short bamboo boat along the Namsong River, which also gives us a taste of adventure as well as an enjoyable exploration of the famous cave of Tham Jang.
Day 7: Vang Vieng - Vientiane (B, L)
Breakfast, drive to Vientiane take about 4 hrs, during on the way back to Vientiane light lunch at Phon Hong. Arrive at Vientiane transfer your flight or Friendship Bridge.
